Dear School Board Member,

This is to duly inform you that in response to your lack of action in my rightful complaints of inequities, please be aware that complaints have been filed with the Arkansas Department of Education. You have refused me my right to appeal the decisions of your Superintendent Dr. Don Henderson in Level II Hearings. You have denied my daughter the right to student hearings. You have denied my daughter and son the right to transportation.

You have supported the illegal activities of your personnel at Fuller Middle School Gang Coverup including NAEP testing improprieties of a felonious nature, included but not limited to. These complaints shall be both of a general and specific nature depending upon the scope of your specific involvement. You were made well aware of my possession of audio evidence of my numerous criminal and civil complaints.

You were afforded NUMEROUS opportunities to address my rightful complaints dealing with both Transportation and FMS. You have allowed your support for President Mildred Tatum, in charge of ZONE 1, next door to your office, to cloud your compassion for my children and your obvious disdain shall NOT be tolerated any longer.

I will allow time for the investigation team to finish their work before proceeding forward with my additional complaints against your unresponsive school district as it pertains to this heinous matter. You have refused to acceptably resolve this matter with me personally and I shall reserve the right to publish and or forward copies of any and all documentation/audio regarding
these matters WITHOUT prior notice of ANY kind, including carbon copy notifications from this point forward.

CONTACT WAS MADE WITH STACEY GOODWIN AT THE PULASKI COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE ON 01-21-05. GOODWIN STATED THAT ON 01-20-05 AT APPROXIMATELY 0830 HRS SHE WAS WALKING FROM THE PULASKI COUNTY SPECIAL SCHOOL DISTRICTS CENTRAL OFFICE TO HER VEHICLE WHICH WAS PARKED IN THE PARKING LOT NEXT TO FULLER JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL.

GOODWIN STATED THAT CONTACT WAS MADE WITH A KARL BROWN, ASSISTANT SUPERINTENDENT PULASKI COUNTY SPECIAL SCHOOL DISTRICT, IN THE PARKING LOT. GOODWIN STATED THAT BROWN APPROACHED HER AND TOLD HER THAT SHE WAS NOT TO BE ON SCHOOL PROPERTY EXCEPT FOR THE VERY FRONT OF THE SCHOOL IN ORDER TO PICK UP HER CHILDREN, SERENITY AND ALEX GOODWIN. GOODWIN STATED THAT BROWN BECAME VERY IRRATE AND LUNGED TOWARD HER, MAKING HER FEEL THREATENED AND AFRAID [SIC] FOR HER WELL BEING.

GOODWIN STATED THAT BROWN PRESSED AGAINST HER WHILE YELLING AT HER TO LEAVE THE PROPERTY. GOODWIN STATED THAT THERE WAS A SECURITY OFFICER WITHIN THE IMMEDIATE AREA AND WAS WATCHING THE ORDEAL, THE I.D. OF THE OFFICER IS UNKNOWN AT THIS TIME. GOODWIN WAS GIVEN THIS REPORT NUMBER.

This is truly Jim Crow AMAZING!!

Here's an idea, let's ARREST & maliciously prosecute the Creole minor victim's parent to Jim Crow SHUT HER UP about criminal street gangs, aided by academic adults that are trying to SLIT HER CREOLE DAUGHTER'S THROAT.

Following a two-and-a-half hour public hearing Tuesday night, the Pulaski County Special School District board declined to fire a Homer Adkins Elementary School teacher accused of telling fourth-graders that blacks are cursed.

The teacher, Phoebe Harris, instead has been suspended without pay for the remainder of the school year and for the 2006-2007 school year. She can be rehired under contract after that pending completion of sensitivity training and written apologies to offended parents.

Harris allegedly told the students at the Jacksonville school that blacks were cursed and descended from the devil, according to an account from Laura Johnson, mother of a black child in that class.

“My son came home from school and asked me if he was cursed,” Johnson told district officials in December.

“I looked at him and said no. Then he asked me are black people cursed? I looked at him again and said no and asked him where did he get that from.

“He said his teacher (Mrs. Harris) told him that black people were cursed. She went on to say that Europeans didn’t like black people and that’s why they were used as slaves...

A Pulaski County teacher on the hotseat will now face a lengthy suspension after parents claim she made inappropriate racial remarks to their children at Homer Adkins elementary school in Jacksonville.

Parents testified at a public hearing last night that Phoebe Harris told her 4th grade students that, according to the Bible, black people were cursed by the mark of cain.

What a Racist IDIOT! She isn't even in-line with the mainstream racist, that say that "Blacks", are the decendents of the cursed son of Noah, Ham!

'I'm Not a Racist'

JACKSONVILLE, ARKANSAS - A Homer Adkins Elementary teacher accused of making inappropriate racial and religious comments to her students may still be in the classroom, but she's not yet out of the woods.

Teacher Phoebe Harris allegedly told students at the school that blacks were cursed and descended from the devil, according to an account from Laura Johnson, mother of a black child in that class.

Johnson said her son told her that Harris warned the fourth-graders that she would be fired if they repeated what she was going to tell them. Johnson said Harris told the children they would go "down there where it's hot," if they don't pray.

"[That's not] what I said," Harris said Monday. She refused, however, to say what it was she told them about two weeks ago.

"I'm not answering your questions," she said.

"I am not a racist," Harris said Monday. "Nobody who knows me thinks I'm a racist." As proof of that, Harris said, "The school board's through investigating, and I'm still teaching."

The Pulaski County Special School District board hasn't considered the matter, but district officials met with two parents last week. The district planned to interview Harris and conclude the investigation possibly as early as Tuesday evening, then recommend what if any disciplinary action is appropriate, said Interim Super-intendent James Sharpe. The results would not be made public

Sharpe said if Harris had made the remarks attributed to her by the accusing parents, such behavior would be inappropriate.

Harris told Johnson that Horace Smith with the Office of Desegregation Monitoring had told her it was all right to teach that message to the children.

"I did not give her permission to teach that," Smith, himself a black man, said on Thursday. "She asked me how to teach about skin color and I advised her to discuss melanin, human migration, and adapting to various climates."

He said she then asked about religion and, thinking it a new topic, he told her, "We can't teach religion, but we can teach about religion, its importance in society and different beliefs, but we cannot teach about a religion."

When asked if it was true that she was the wife of a Baptist preacher, Harris said, "I better not answer that." (...and the painful post goes on...)

Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee

Michael Huckabee (born August 24, 1955 in Hope, Arkansas) is the current Republican Governor of the state of Arkansas, having served since 1996. In November 2005, Time magazine named him one of the five best governors in the U.S.

Along with the well respected and popular Arkansas Federal Senator (D) Mark Pryor, he has been mentioned as a possible candidate for President of the United States.

Huckabee has authored or co-authored four books:

• Character is the Issue, a memoir (inspired by the crisis surrounding the incidents prior to his taking office as governor),


• Kids Who Kill, a book about juvenile violence (inspired by the Jonesboro massacre, which took place during his tenure as governor),


• Living Beyond Your Lifetime, a guide for leaving a personal legacy, and


• Quit Digging Your Grave with a Knife and Fork, a health and exercise inspirational guide (based on his personal health experience; Huckabee lost over 110 pounds after his doctors informed him that he had Type 2 diabetes and would probably not live more than 10 years if he did not lose weight).

Huckabee was 1 of 10 recipients of a 2006 American Association of Retired Persons (AARP) Impact Award acknowledging his work as a "Health Crusader".

He has been mentioned as a possible candidate for President in 2008 and, alternatively, as a possible challenger to incumbent Democratic senator Mark Pryor in that same year.

On May 23, 2005, Senator Pryor was one of fourteen senators to forge a compromise on the Democrats' use of the judicial filibuster, thus blocking the Republican leadership's attempt to implement the so-called "nuclear option". He was the only Democrat to defeat a Republican incumbent in the election cycle of 2002, when he defeated incumbant Tim Hutchinson.

Regarding a possible Presidential candidacy, similarities have already been drawn between Huckabee and former President Clinton:

• both are from Hope, Arkansas,


• both chaired the National Governors' Association (considered a stepping-stone for governors with Presidential aspirations),


• both are Southern Baptists, and


• both are musically inclined (Clinton plays the saxophone, Huckabee plays the guitar)

What Is A World Citizen?

A World Citizen flag.

A world citizen (or citizen of the world) is a person who wishes to transcend the geopolitical divisiveness inherent in the national citizenships of the various sovereign states and countries. In this respect the concept differs from internationalism, which is still based on the idea of nations. By refusing to accept a patriotic identity dictated by any national government, world citizens assert their independence as citizens of the Earth, the world, or the cosmos.

Overview

The first people to identify themselves as "world citizens" were the Stoic philosophers (see Zeno of Citium).

The perspective of a world citizen has affinities with an existentialist philosophical outlook in that world citizens:

• do not want to be categorized by any artificially imposed categories

and/or

• wish to identify themselves first and foremost as human beings and then by any groupings to which they may seem to belong.

• work for a reformed, strengthened, yet sufficiently decentralized United Nations which represents and responds to the will of the people of the world, more than to intergovernmental hagglings, and adheres to the principles of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, similar to a federal system on the national scale

• work toward other developments to strengthen a common identity and harmony between their fellow world citizens on the planet, while respecting local and national loyalties and diversity.

World citizens are not limited to any specific faith or ideology, but will often adhere to the following:

• freedom from all national, ethnic, racial, and religious prejudices


• belief in the basic equality of all sexes

and support

• democratic globalization


• elimination of poverty


• international auxiliary languages


• uniform system of weights and measures


• universal currency


• universal education


• universal health care
